An opportunity to learn amongst a thriving 20 year old established Syntropic food forest in northland, Aotearoa!
This course is focused on establishing a sound foundation in the principles, practices of Syntropic Agroforestry.

Syntropic Agroforestry is a frame work in which to dramatically transform soil, build community, create livelihoods from the land and produce a diversity of abundance on any landscape.

An immersive course spanning the whole weekend. 

- Origins and Philosophy of Syntropy.
- Foundations of Syntropic Agroforestry.
- Understanding Soil and Succession.
- Soil amendments and planting tips for robust plant growth.
- Contextualising plant dynamics
- Reading Landscapes and Vegetation.
- Principles of Food Forest Design.
- Regenerating native forest through syntropy.
- Food Forest Management 
- Syntropic Food Forests for community and climate resilience.

Accomodation

Camping on our farm is available on notification. Otherwise there are a few local accomodation facilities we would be happy to recommend.

Lunches and tea breaks are provided. 
Organic and mostly grown on our farm.
